Your voice never leaves your computer
This is the whole point of Voyce. Speech recognition runs locally on your own machine. We never receive your audio, your transcripts, or anything you dictate. There is no account, no cloud processing and no usage tracking in the app.
The words Voyce learns from your corrections are stored in a file on your computer and are never uploaded.
If "Learn my voice" is on, Voyce also keeps a recording of what you dictate, on your own computer, so it can improve for the way you speak. It keeps up to 500 MB and deletes the oldest first. You can switch it off or erase all of it at any time from Settings, and none of it is ever uploaded.
What we do hold
Only what is needed to sell you a licence and support it:
- Your email address and which plan you bought, so we can issue and re-issue your licence key.
- Your Stripe order reference, so a purchase can be matched to a licence.
- Billing country and currency, which we record for sales tax.
We do not store your card details. Stripe handles payment and is the processor for it.
When the app contacts us
Monthly licences check in periodically to confirm the subscription is still active. That check sends your licence key and nothing else: no audio, no text, no usage data. A lifetime licence never contacts us at all; it is verified entirely offline and keeps working if our servers disappear.
How long we keep it
We keep licence records for as long as the licence is valid, and afterwards for as long as we are required to keep sales records for tax purposes (5 years in the United Arab Emirates).
Who else sees it
Stripe and OWT Group Ltd (payment processing) and Supabase (which hosts the licence database and the functions that issue keys). Nobody else. We do not sell or share your data, and there is no advertising or analytics tracking in Voyce.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@mindscopesolutionsfzc.com. Deleting your licence record will deactivate a monthly licence. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the UAE Data Office, or to the data protection authority in your own country if you are outside the UAE.
